University of Notre Dame, Sydney Law School

Based on its sensitive development of major heritage sites in Sydney, the University of Notre Dame approached Equiset to redevelop two Sydney campuses in Broadway and Darlinghurst.

The first $10 million redevelopment converted the historic St Benedict's Church site in Broadway into a campus offering courses in the arts, business, education, law, philosophy and theology.

Completed on time and on budget, the Broadway campus project included the restoration of the existing school, presbytery and St Benedict's Church.

As the project needed to be completed within a tight construction timeline, Equiset was able to commence early project works at the same time as designed and lodging the Development Application.

The project was completed in December 2005, allowing the University to commence classes in the first semester of 2006. The campus was officially opened by the Prime Minister, the Hon. John Howard MP, and blessed by His Eminence, Cardinal George Pell, in March 2006.
